List Building - Secrets of Creating a Web Page to Build a Large List

There are many kinds of pages you can use to build a list from - squeeze pages, sales pages, review pages, blogs etc.

A review site is a good idea although the opt-in rates will be lower because there are more options for the visitor to choose from. With a squeeze page, there are only two options - opt-in or leave. A squeeze page acts like a qualifier; it also rewards people who give you their information so you can contact them further. The upside with a review site is that although you may get lesser leads, the quality of leads you get might be better.

You can also create review pages for different products each and bid for the product names on AdWords. This will generate a highly qualified lead who is looking to buy and nearly has his credit card whipped out and ready to buy.

If it's a review site for dog training products, for example, you can create a page for each dog training product and link to it from your targeted AdWords ad.

Another idea might be to create a portal site with links to 3 different squeeze pages.

You can organize it it in a step-by-step format.

For example:

Step 1 - Create a product (link to a squeeze page with a product creation report)

Step 2 - Get traffic (link to a page with a traffic report)

Step 3 - Increase conversions (link to a page with a conversions report)

It's a great way to build a qualified list and get visitors involved in your process.
